the great thing about new york is that one can be shit faced every day if one chooses to do so. in my very small world, i call this act "disco noddy". "what are you upto" "disco noddy". it's an insider term from 1992.
friday night: dinner. meet some intreresting peeps from france. some club on the les. shit faced.
saturday: worn out from the prior night, walk out for a coffee. bump into an old friend (hi m!). think about reading............fast fwd to 1:30 am, already asleep. phone rings "minoru, i'm downstairs, open the door" "oh ok (he owns the house)" i open the door and with him were a group of 5. drinks and whatnot later, we go to a club (??) not too far from where i am. it was pretty interesting, especially musically and not as contrived as the manhattan scene. i kinda liked it. shit faced.
sunday: whilst doing facebook, find out that a california-webbie friend of mine is nearby. join him and his friends for vegan din-din. very interesting people whom i must check in again soon. after din-din, another club in the west village/tribeca. shit faced.
not much results from my shit facedness, but i think i am starting to hear a sound.................
